1) go out and see a guy i dated over a year ago...we flirt, things seem cool, then he pops the, "why'd you never call me back before?" i answer with an honest answer about why i thought we weren't gonna work, he got offended...and proceed to get irritated, annoyed, and flat out mean.
2) guy i went on a few dates with asks me for advice about some girl; i give him honest advice and he replies, "...like you who rejected me...twice!" with gest.
3) out on a date with a new guy, run into the ex-bf i almost married. current gf screams at me in front of my date & tries to talk shit. embarrassment and awkwardness ensue, but i stay at the bar because i am bigger than all this & for me, this is so in the past. i walk away somehow with class and my dignity.
4) go to a live show; another ex who i haven't talked to or seen in 6 months sees me and comes to catch up.
5) run into a friend of another ex who saw me out on a date with a different guy just a few days ago... he proceeds to awkwardly inquire about who that 'friend' was, and i say, oh an awkward date not going well...and he looks at me sideways as if i had been cheating on his best friend. the ex had failed to mention to his friends we were done. i had to dispel that.
anyways, so goes the typical weekend of an active dating woman in a city that is too small.
